The reaffirmation by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco’s deep African roots reflects a wise and visionary Royal vision, promoting a strategic approach that transcends temporary considerations to uphold the values of integration and cohesion across the Continent, emphasized Egyptian political analyst Tarek Al-Bardissi.
By reiterating that “Morocco’s success is also an African success,” the Sovereign reinforces a modern conception of the role of a successful African state as a regional lever capable of strengthening the continent’s position in the international system, the international relations expert told MAP.
The political analyst also noted that Morocco’s experience has now become a model able to secure a global standing without abandoning its African depth, highlighting the spirit of inter-African brotherhood, supreme values of unity and respect, as well as the historical depth of relations between peoples, promoted by His Majesty the King.
The Sovereign’s message reflects the emergence of an African consciousness that refuses to reduce relations between peoples to fleeting moments of emotion and affirms the principle that the success of any African state constitutes a collective gain, he added.
“A strong Africa is built through integration and governed with wisdom and foresight,” concluded the Egyptian political analyst.
