The Gambia’s former ambassador to Morocco, Saffie Lowe Ceesay, was decorated with the Grand Cordon of the Wissam Alaouite, bestowed upon her by HM King Mohammed VI.
The Royal award took place during a reception held on Saturday at the Moroccan Embassy in Banjul, in the presence of senior Gambian officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sering Modou Njie, as well as members of the diplomatic and consular corps accredited to The Gambia and relatives of the decorated ambassador.
