The French Prime Minister, Sébastien Lecornu, and his accompanying delegation visited the Mohammed V Mausoleum in Rabat on Thursday, where they paid their respects at the tombs of the late Sovereigns, the late HM King Mohammed V and the late HM King Hassan II, may God have them in His holy mercy.
Lecornu, accompanied by the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with the Parliament and Government Spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas, laid a wreath of flowers on the tombs of the two late Sovereigns before signing the mausoleum’s guestbook.
On this occasion, the French Prime Minister was given explanations regarding the authentic architectural character of this civilizational monument.
French PM Sébastien Lecornu arrived on Wednesday evening at the Rabat-Salé airport for an official visit to the Kingdom, during which he will co-chair, on Thursday, with the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, the 15th session of the Morocco-France High-Level Meeting.
The holding of the 15th session of the Morocco-France High-Level Meeting comes as a consecration of the reinforced exceptional partnership between Morocco and France, under the leadership of the two Heads of State, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and the French President, Emmanuel Macron.
