Managing director of Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui held a working session on Friday in Rabat with the Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and Al-Quds Affairs at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ambassador Dawas Tayseer Dawas, focusing on ways to support the resilience of the Palestinian people, particularly the population of the Holy City.
The meeting examined coordination efforts aimed at strengthening the Arab-Islamic presence in Al-Quds and Palestine to address all challenges and confront the complex situation resulting from illegal Israeli policies and measures, according to a press release by the Agency.
On the occasion, Cherkaoui reviewed the projects and programs implemented by the Agency, particularly in the fields of education, healthcare, social assistance and human development.
He also reaffirmed the commitment of the Agency to continue, under all circumstances, its missions in support of the Holy City, its residents and its institutions, in accordance with the High Guidelines of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
