The Joint Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit reaffirmed, on Monday in Riyadh, its support to the action of Al-Quds Committee, chaired by HM King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him.
The Arab and Islamic Sovereigns and Heads of State taking part in this extraordinary Summit expressed their support to Al-Quds Committee’s action to strengthen the resilience of Al-Quds inhabitants.
This support was expressed in the resolution adopted by the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries following the Summit, held at the invitation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, who represented HM the King to the Riyadh Summit, stated that the Sovereign places the Palestinian cause among the constants of the Kingdom’s foreign policy.
Akhannouch was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita.
The Moroccan delegation includes Morocco’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Mohamed Ait Ouali, the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Mustapha Mansouri, as well as senior diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates.
