As part of the regular meetings between Morocco’s Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and the United Nations Mission in the Kingdom’s Southern Provinces, Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, FAR Inspector General and Commander of the South Zone, received Major General Md Fakhrul Ahsan, Force Commander of the UN Mission in the Kingdom’s Southern Provinces, at the headquarters of the South Zone Staff in Agadir on Wednesday.
During the meeting, which provided an opportunity to exchange views on the mission’s activities, the two officials praised the exceptional levels of coordination achieved in the operational, security, demining and logistic support fields, according to a FAR General Staff press release.
