The Royal Moroccan Golf Federation (RMGF) has extended its partnership with the International Series, which comprises ten prestigious events within the Asian Tour calendar, by two years.
“Morocco will remain a key destination on the International Series calendar, following a strategic agreement reached with the RMGF (…) This two-year agreement was made official on the sidelines of the International Series Morocco”, held in Rabat on July 3-6, International Series Morocco announced in a press release on Tuesday.
“This announcement reinforces Morocco’s growing status as a major regional platform for international golf, thanks to a solid ecosystem dedicated to the emergence of talent, in particular with the organization of two Asian Development Tour (ADT) tournaments and several other key initiatives fostering the promotion of the discipline at all levels,” the release emphasizes.
This agreement confirms “our presence in Morocco for 2026 and for at least two further editions”, enthused Director of the International Series Rahul Singh, quoted in the press release, adding: “We express sincere gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid”.
“The renewal of this strategic partnership is a wonderful opportunity to continue supporting our young people and help them realize their full potential”, said Jalil Bennazouz, representing the RMGF, noting that “the International Series enables our national and regional talents to take on the international elite”.
On Sunday, Zimbabwean golfer Scott Vincent won the title at the 3rd edition of the International Series Morocco, held at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat. The International Series offers direct access to the LIV Golf League to the top ranking player of the final season.
