As part of the periodic meetings between the Royal Armed Forces and the United Nations Mission in the Southern Provinces of the Kingdom, Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the South Zone met on Thursday at the Headquarters of the Southern Zone Staff in Agadir with Major General Fakhrul Ahsan, Commander of the UN Mission in the Kingdom’s Southern Provinces.
This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the activities of the mission and the coordination between the two parties in the areas of operations, security, demining, and logistical support, according to a statement from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
