On High Instructions of His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the FAR and Commander of the South Zone, received Tuesday at the FAR General Staff headquarters, Major General Vincent Nyakarundi, Chief of Staff of the Rwandan Army, currently on a work visit to Morocco on November 10-14.

This visit is part of the implementation of the military cooperation agreement inked in June 2025 in Rabat between the two parties, covering different areas of cooperation in the military field, according to a press release from the FAR General Staff.

During these talks, the Chief of Staff of the Rwandan Army expressed his deep satisfaction with the excellent bilateral ties between Morocco and Rwanda.

He pointed out that this visit is a key step to furthering military cooperation, fostering exchange and concertation between the two armies.

At the close of this meeting, both officials reiterated shared willingness to bolster and expand the existing partnership momentum, thereby contributing to enshrining a lasting and exemplary military cooperation between the two armies.

Built on a long and solid history, bilateral ties between Morocco and Rwanda, boosted since the historic visit of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to Kigali in 2016, are gearing towards a strategic partnership aiming to promote development, safety and peace on the African continent.
