Morocco is among “the seven top sun destinations” in this holiday season, according to Canadian news channel TVA Nouvelles.
The Kingdom is one of the destinations “offering the perfect combination of relaxation, gourmet pleasures, cultural discoveries, and extraordinary adventures,” the Quebec-based media outlet points out in an article published on its website.
“If you’re looking for some sunshine, but not necessarily tropical heat, and you’re looking for a change of scenery, Morocco will amaze you,” the news channel underlines in this article written by Érika Tremblay.
In this regard, TVA Nouvelles highlights the Kingdom’s several tourist attractions, including “its lively souks, lush gardens, legendary hospitality, and cuisine that is famous for its spices and bright colors.”
During this holiday season, the Canadian media outlet recommends visiting the medina of Marrakech, noting that “it’s an opportunity to stroll and discover its ochre streets and rich heritage.”
Among other cities to visit are Essaouira and Agadir, says TVA Nouvelles, which also advises tourists to plan a stopover in the heart of the Moroccan desert.
“This experience, in stark contrast to the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains in the background, promises to be unforgettable,” the news channel stresse.
The other sun tourist destinations recommended by the Quebec media include Los Cabos (Mexico), Colombia, the islands of Guadeloupe, Brazil, the French Riviera and the Bahamas.
