The international praise for the success of the 35th Africa Cup of Nations is explicit recognition of Morocco’s ability to organize major continental and global events, said Kuwaiti writer and journalist Youssef Al-Omairi.
In a statement to MAP, Al-Omairi said that this success represents a fundamental milestone in highlighting African football as an attractive product capable of attracting investment.
He also noted that Morocco, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, continues to call for solidarity among African peoples and the strengthening of fraternal ties in order to address the economic, social, and cultural challenges facing the continent.
“The Kingdom’s compass has been and will remain oriented towards a united, reconciled and proud Africa,” Al-Omairi concluded, who is also chairman of the board of directors of the Kuwaiti news platform “Khalijiyoun.”
