Holmarcom group has announced the launch of an artificial intelligence institute, based in Casablanca, as well as a partnership with Microsoft to offer certified programs.

This initiative, which paves the way for learning and professional development opportunities in a rapidly expanding sector, seeks to contribute to strengthening innovation within Moroccan companies, said Holmarcom and Microsoft in a joint press release.

Its mission is to develop skills to ease the transition to a professional world that is increasingly focused on technology, through certified and flexible programs.

The strategic partnership between Holmarcom and Microsoft demonstrates the joint vision shared by the two sides which aim to provide training programs adapted to the needs of the Moroccan market and in line with the latest technological developments.

“As Artificial Intelligence is currently one of the main levers of growth and performance both at the professional and economical levels, it is essential to acquire the latest skills in this area to remain competitive and address the challenges of the 21st century”, said CEO of Holmarcom group, Karim Chiouar, as quoted in the press release.

For her part, Country Manager for Microsoft Morocco, Salima Amira, stressed that the partnership with Holmarcom offers a unique opportunity to boost Morocco’s digital capabilities and stimulate local innovation.

“Skills development is the cornerstone of building a robust Moroccan AI sector and the key to take advantage of global transformation and harness the potential of the new AI economy. We are convinced that this collaboration will allow us to have a significant impact on a large scale,” she pointed out.

The AI Institute will also collaborate with DynIT in order to benefit from the expertise and skills of consultant-trainers accredited by Microsoft.

Its training programs are designed to cover AI-related fields, offering maximum flexibility through a hybrid model of in-person and online sessions.

Certified by Microsoft, these training courses aim to pave the way for new professional opportunities and to equip economic players with new skills with the aim of promoting an environment conducive to innovation.
