The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, on the occasion of the 2nd session of the Joint Cooperation Committee, held on Tuesday in Accra, during which the initiatives of HM King Mohammed VI for the emergence and development of Africa were highly praised.
These talks also provided an opportunity to welcome the positive momentum initiated within the framework of the African Atlantic States Process and to reaffirm the commitment to promote the African Atlantic space as a strategic platform for cooperation, stability, and shared prosperity.
Furthermore, the Ghanaian side commended the Royal Initiative aimed at facilitating the access of landlocked Sahel countries to the Atlantic Ocean, viewing it as a concrete expression of African solidarity and active South-South cooperation.
Finally, the two ministers expressed their satisfaction with the progress achieved within the framework of the Atlantic African Gas Pipeline megaproject, highlighting its strategic importance for regional integration, energy security, and sustainable development.
