Morocco’s U20 national team was held to a goalless draw (0–0) by their Nigerian counterparts on Sunday in a tightly contested Group B encounter of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), played at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo.
In the other group fixture, Tunisia secured a 3–1 victory over Kenya, further boosting their hopes of advancing.
Following the second round of group-stage action, both Morocco and Nigeria sit atop the standings with four points each, while Tunisia follows with three. Kenya is yet to earn a point.
The Moroccan squad will wrap up their group-stage campaign on Wednesday in a decisive clash against Tunisia.
