Minister Ammor, KSA Ambassador Discuss Means to Strengthen Tourism Cooperation

Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, held a working session in Rabat on Thursday with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Morocco, Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh, focusing on the development of bilateral relations in the sector of tourism.

After highlighting the excellent level of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, both officials reiterated their willingness to further boost their ties in the sector of tourism, the Ministry said in a statement.

On this occasion, Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh, congratulated the Kingdom of Morocco on its recognized experience in tourism, pointing out that for Saudi nationals, Morocco remains a destination of choice, particularly for family tourism.

For her part, Ammor suggested increasing air connections between the two countries, with a view to increasing the flow of Saudi tourists to Morocco.

The Minister also reiterated the importance of pursuing the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of tourism signed between the two countries on November 24, 2022.

At the end of the meeting, the Saudi diplomat proposed exchanges of visits for a fruitful partnership, capitalizing on the achievements between the two countries in the field of tourism, concluded the statement.
