Under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Kingdom of Morocco has consolidated its position as an influential regional and international actor through a balanced diplomacy based on openness, diversified partnerships and respect for national specificities, the Director of the Strategic Studies Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Mahmoud Ezzat, said.
In a statement to MAP on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the glorious Throne Day, Ezzat stressed that this diplomatic approach has helped strengthen Morocco’s presence in its regional and international environment, making the Kingdom a reliable partner and a leading interlocutor on various issues of common interest.
Under the leadership of HM the King, Morocco has achieved qualitative transformations across various sectors, the same source added, noting that these accomplishments have established the Kingdom as a regional model enjoying growing esteem and interest.
He commended Morocco’s growing presence on the African continent as well as the Kingdom’s position as a trusted partner in the Mediterranean region, highlighting its contribution to fostering dialogue among cultures and civilizations within the framework of a strategic vision based on cooperation and co-development.
The Egyptian academic noted that the celebration of the glorious Throne Day embodies a continuous process of nation-building, modernization and development, emphasizing that Morocco has witnessed significant progress in recent years in terms of infrastructure, the consolidation of the New Development Model, the expansion of social protection programs, and support of investment as well as the green and digital economy.
Stressing that youth, culture and education rank among the priorities of national development, Ezzat considered that these policies have contributed to strengthening stability and accelerating development, making Morocco a regional model capable of reconciling economic and social reforms with the preservation of the foundations of stability.
Regarding Moroccan-Egyptian relations, the source said that cultural and scientific cooperation between the two brotherly countries has gained increasing momentum in recent years in the fields of culture, youth, education, and scientific research. He noted that this positive trend reflects the depth of the historical and human ties binding the two peoples and opens broad prospects for strengthening complementarity between the two countries.
